The three projects selected by Eusko Ikaskuntza and the Basque universities will be presented on 20 February.
At the end of last year, the 1st Programme for the Promotion and Support of Research was launched with the aim of promoting research among master's students, doctoral students and 4th year undergraduate and 5th year double degree students. The first call for proposals was attended by 24 candidates, 20 of them in Basque, from 20 women and 7 men from all territories.
The three selected projects will be presented on 20 February at 5:30 p.m. at the Donostia headquarters. The winners of this first edition, Elene Igoa Iraola, Amaia Rodriguez Aguirre and Mihiret Elisa Zarate Beitia, will give an account of the work they are carrying out (their research objectives, the methodology to be used and the expected results). They will also receive the certificate of recognition.
The event will be attended by Ana Urkiza, President of Eusko Ikaskuntza, and Francisco Javier Arrieta, professor at the University of Deusto and coordinator of the programme, as well as representatives of the universities participating in the jury. Once the event is over, those attending will be able to enjoy a small snack.
