Summary

The influence of rivers and mountains in the distribution of the population in Navarre. Navarre can be divided in three regions: the region of the hamlets, of the villages and the towns. The region of hamlets is characterized by a soft and wet climate, it does not have flat expanses although it does have meadows and forests. The area with villages is a transition zone with respect to climate and to land layout. The region with towns is dry, without forests
