Summary
The present publication continues with the series begun in volumes 76, 82, 92 and 107 of the collection. In this case it contains the documents corresponding to the 1368 and 1369 of the reign of Charles II of Navarre (1349-1387) preserved in the Comptos, Loose Documents and Records of the General Archives of Navarre. At this time Charles II divides his time between his interests in the civil war in Castille, that was to end at this time (1369), and his interests in France, where he attempted to solve the problem of the possession of Montpellier, which explains his move to France by mid 1369. These conflicts are reflected in the documentation presented herein, as there are numerous references, above all related to the economic expenses of the war and on the other hand Juana, his wife, is placed in charge of the government in his absence. On the other hand there are also data of great interest for the knowledge of the functioning of the kingdom of Navarre in the political, economic and administrative fields.
