Summary

In this approach to Chaho, by using metaphor, it is possible to mention concepts of politics and law. In fact, the Basque´s historic rights summarise the agreement´s identity in the historical context: and, in it, Chaho was highly in favour of the ?fueros´ (regional laws/privileges), both in the North and the South. Nowadays, Basque historical rights appear in the following legal documents: the Guernica Statute and the Spanish Constitution. So, to a certain extent, they are the "Constitutions" of the Basque Country.
