Summary
This paper on Busturia aims to analyse the political evolution of local institutions from the Restoration of the Spanish Monarchy to the end of the Civil War. Without forgetting this institutional evolution at local level, the study focuses on various social aspects related to the Second Republic and the Civil War in the municipality, such as the implementation of different ideologies, social conflict, military mobilisation, exile or repression.
