Summary

A great part of the construction that tooch place in Salamanca during the first third of the XVIth century was held by the masons that came from the North of Spain, some of them were basque. Here are the names of these masons -more than fifty- and their most outstanding activities. There are some important architects among them, such as Juan de Alava, Pedro de Ibarra, Pedro de Larrea and Juan de Orozco.
