Summary

This work begins with an addition to the Bylaws of the guild of house carpenter ; masters of Bayonne, dated 21st May 1699. A study is then made of the activity of one of them, J. Duber, was often an expert jury member for the city in the 18th century. Experts´ reports, budgets, descriptions of various projects (repairs, demolitions, constructions) and auctions are also included. There is also some information on 17th and 18th century structures and buildings in Bayonne. This work ends proposing a technical lexicon of 150 to 200 terms and expressions used by these builders.
