Summary

The principal objective of this work is to show the meaning of the birth and development of the Juventud Obrera Católica (JOC - Catholic Worker Youth) in the Basque Country. That is, the author studies its evolution from a spiritualist position, not very commited with the workers´ and nationalist problems, to a position that was, especialy in the sixties, totaly identified with the workers´ movement and nationalist values, until it became a platform of opposition to the Franquist regime.
