Summary

The economic and social evolution of metropolitan Bilbao has been parallel to that of its urban regeneration over the last few years. In just a few years, the image of an industrial town has become very different, combining a regenerated environment with modern architectural elements and a high-quality offer that situates Bilbao in the forefront of Europe in terms of strategic metropolitan area revitalisation.
