Summary

This paper analyses the entry of a steel company, as Santa Ana de Bolueta, in the electricity market in the last years of the 19th century and early 20th century. Besides the explanation in the business logic of this initiative it also shows the founded grounds in which it based to quit, before the increasing rivalry.
