Summary

This article examines the drafts of Fuenteovejuna (1967-)that have been preserved. Fuenteovejuna is anunfinished opera by Francisco Escudero (San Sebastian,1912-2002). This material illustrates the creation process of the work and the working method of the author. Moreover, this work contributes to placing Francisco Escudero in the history of the Spanish music in a moment of progressive political change.
