Summary

A biographical study of the American period of the Navarran compositor Emiliana de Zubeldia (1888-1987), which started with a period of working as concert player (1928-1936), also dedicated to composing music. She met Augusto Novaro in New York in 1930, becoming a follower of his theory and his only disciple. In 1935 she set up her home in Mexico and in 1947 moved to Hermosillo, to take charge of musical education at the university, where she stayed for 40 years working as a music teacher, choir director, lecturer and producer of radiophonic programmes, and as a composer
