From 1932 to 1936, Eugène GOYHENECHE, who was then between 17 and 21 years old and was studying in the university, will carry out a considerable militant activity in Paris: a Basque militancy indeed (in the Euskal Ikasleen Biltzarra ; and Eskualzaleen Biltzarra associations and in the Elgar newspaper) but he ; also maintained regular relations with the federalist movement and frequent contacts with militants of other national minorities.
