Summary

Issue no. 14 of Ikastaria collects seven works that are a theoretical contribution for the teaching of the Basque language. In the first article Larringan and Idiazabal reflect on the quality of the Basque language, and propose a methodology to objectively analyse the various materialisations that could take place in the use of that language. In the four following pieces, Diaz de Gereñu, Garro and Idiazabal, Garcia Azkoaga and Bilbao and Ocio present an analysis of certain types of oral and written texts and offer certain didactic conclusions. After that, Ocio and his collaborators carry out some interesting thinking on the teaching and learning of the language. Lastly, Ugartetxea, basing his work in an experience of teaching-learning, approaches the experiences and reflections generated by the teaching of euskara.
