Summary

According to Strabon, Idubeda is the connection point between the ancient provinces of Asturias and Cantabria. Idubeda must be the "Picos de Europa" , although in the old times it used to be confused with the Pyrinees. The primitive Cantabria was geographically constituted by Galicia, Asturias, Santander, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, but in the Middle Ages it was divided between Castilla and Asturias
