Summary

This volume presents the research work of the Section for Prehistory and Archaeology carried out with study grants from Eusko Ikaskuntza between 2000 and 2008. The research deals with themes such as hunting strategies in the Middle Palaeolithic age in the Basque Country, Magdalenian cave art in the Highlands of Arbailla, bone technology related to the manufacture of art furniture at the Magdalenian archaeological site of Santa Catalina, the spatial distribution of burial remains of recent Prehistory in Guipuzcoa, or the results of the archaeological dig in the region of Uribe Kosta.
