Summary

The Media Section has just published Notebook no. 9 of the Mediatika journal. In the first of the topics discussed -Euskaraz idatzitako aldizkarien errolda (1960s - 1999)-, Joxemari Muxika informs us of the census of magazines in Basque published in the specified period. This Notebook has a special second part, dedicated to Rafael Ossa Echaburu, the journalist and writer from Ondarroa and now living in Bilbao, that collects the speeches made during the homage that was tributed to him in January 2001. The economy was the field in which this well-known journalist wrote, during the nineteen-sixties and seventies, in the Gaceta del Norte and in so many other newspapers. Also in the present Media Section Notebook we would like to underline the work by Joxemari Muxika dedicated to the catalogation of the press in Basque.
