Summary

We carry out the geospatial analysis of the funeral rituals practiced during Recent Prehistory in Gipuzkoa. They display an unusual distribution in which the cromlech are concentrated in the north-eastern sector, the sepulchral caves in the north-western limestone and the dolmens in the rest of the territory, sometimes next to caves. We propose that their distribution responds to a "preconceived" plan for stockbreeding.
