Summary
The purpose of our work is to demonstrate that Basques were presents when Champlain arrived to the Gran Baia and Saint Lawrence River in Canada. We have studied the reedition of the Oeuvres de Champlain published by Éditions du Jour, Montréal 1973 in three volumes. This study does not pretend to be exhaustive.
