Summary

Cities are immersed in a permanent crisis. They are changing entities, a place for fears, dangers and loss of identity but they are also places of freedom, sociability and interchange. This work approaches in a fragmented manner plural aspects of today´s cities, cities of globalisation and flexible capitalism, multiple and apparently chaotic cities in which over half of humanity now dwells.
