Summary

The Goenkalesoap opera has been on the screen for the last sixteen years, and the Euskal Telebista Basque TV channel has broadcast over three thousand episodes. The contribution it has made to the television industry is undeniable, because hundreds of actors and technicians have passed through it. And what is even more undeniable is the contribution it has made to the Basque language. This is not only due to the vitality of the Basque used in it, but also to the fact that after so many years it has secured the loyalty of thousands of viewers towards our language by turning it, to a certain extent, into the successor of the Basque "fireside" [which once played a key role in the transmission of the Basque language].
