Summary

In the present work the authors study the techniques and methods of work used in our country for the manufacture of products derived from iron, prior to industrialisation.First, the author names a series of products that are considered more representative, and then he describes in detail the methods and techniques used for the elaboration of eachone of such products. These processes described are: the forge, welding, filing, grindingand temper. Finally the author draws the conclusions he estimates are the most relevant.
