Becoming of Culture: Interdependencies Higher Education, Politics and Technology

The presented to date concepts of social becoming are focusing on the passed sociopolitical processes. Nowadays it can be interpreted as the process of ‘becoming of culture’ confronted with the accelerated technological  evelopment. In this manner is constituted a new framework of culture which is knowledge-, science- and technology-driven and which in a condensed form can be observed in the field of higher education and research. The best examples hereby are the political project of the European Research Area and the concept of technosciences with the example of nanotechnology.
