Rodolfo Trebisch travelled to the Basque Country with the assignment of collecting samples of all the dialects in Basque and also forming a collection of Basque popular art. He visited Ainhoa and Sara. Mention is made to ethnographic museums with a Basque section. Special mention is made to the Basque collection at the Vienna Museum
