ABSTRACT
By means of the plenary conferences of the 17th Eusko Ikaskuntza Congrsses, there emerge the following nine discussion themes: revaluation of the public sphere; solidary society; justice; memory; globalization; the gender system; quality of life and social tension. Innovation is at the same time a discussion topic in itself and a transversal ingredient to all the other topics. The introduction summarises the common threads, emergences and singularities, whereas the conclusions are centred on each topic, the methodology followed, the participational dynamics and future proposals.
