ABSTRACT
Akelarre: the witch hunt in the Pyrenees (13th-19th centuries) is a collective work in homage to the historian and folklorist Gustav Henningsen. In this work the collaborators analyse the "witch hunt" the 13th and 18th centuries in the Pyrenees, from different aspects, such as the protagonists, rituals, beliefs, official and popular attitudes and its evolution.
