Letter by Flitner to Gárate in which he gives him permission for the publication of an article. The article is a reminder of the death of Humboldt in 1835. Humboldt considered that the Basques had managed to maintain their own characteristics in spite of their exchanges with Europe. Mention is also made to his thoughts on teaching, ethics, and schools.
