Vasconia en la Tardoantigüedad: De la Antropología a una Historia en pedazos

Paradoxically, the increase in information about Vasconia during the 5th to the 8th centuries has coincided in recent years with a disconcerting interpretative labyrinth. This article endeavours to act as a critical guide to the great phases in the historiography relating to the Vascones, from their anthropological bases right up to the abandoning of the great 20th-century theses and the breaking of nearly all the consensuses. At the same time, the current diversity is examined by confronting it with two classic problems: paganism and independence.
