The author shows the differences between the people and the families of languages. Then he studies the relation of the Basque language with other languages ; he says that the Basque language has structures that belong to Latin. Other authors made a comparison of the Basque language with the Egyptian and Bereber languages, and Schuchardt says that the Basque language has similarities with the Nubian language. He later does a comparative analysis of both grammars
