The first session featured a collective review of the Cluster's history since 2004. The first exercise highlighted the main milestones and recalled and acknowledged the center's contributions to the revitalization of the Basque language. In addition, the Cluster's mission and strategic lines were addressed through other exercises.
The second of the strategic reflection sessions will take place on June 19, in an open format, and will allow for completion and finalization of the process.
The Sociolinguistics Cluster was established in 2004 with the aim of contributing to the revitalization of the Basque language. Since its inception, it has sought collaboration between university researchers and social stakeholders in favor of the Basque language to develop language policies and knowledge-based intervention strategies.
