Hernialde inicia el proceso de revitalización del pueblo y construcción de una Comunidad. Y la comunidad intergeneracional e intercultural de Irun está llevando a cabo una de las iniciativas locales diseñadas.
During the first phase of the GizarteLab programme of Eusko Ikaskuntza, promoted by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, a large group of people of different ages and with diverse concerns, committed to the revitalization of the town, have been sensitized and raised awareness.
Although the process will be long and difficult, both the participants and municipal representatives are happy with the result. The atmosphere of trust, proactivity and creativity generated during the workshops has surprised even the participants themselves, who have valued the initiative very positively and are determined to continue with the work next year.

In Iran, however, the second phase of the programme has just been completed, with the Community having already designed and prototyped several feasible and viable community initiatives. In fact, one of them has already been launched in the Artia neighbourhood of the border town.

In both cases, the intention of both the groups involved and the institutions is to continue the following phases of the GizarteLab programme until 2025.
