Information

Eusko Ikaskuntza / Basque Studies Society instituted in 2006 the ENE Prize, which is to be awarded annually to an institution outside the Basque Country that has distinguished itself in its support for the Basque language.

ENE, the acronym of Euskararen Nazioarteko Eguna, is an initiative that started within Eusko Ikaskuntza / Basque Studies Society in 1949 that promotes the universality of the Basque language.

The new technologies make this objective more feasible.
