Summary

Agustín González composed his Symphony no. 2 five years after completing his Symphony Nº 1. By means of the analysis of his second Symphony we shall attempt to show the importance of a fundamental attitude in the author´s philosophy, which is none other than compositional coherence. This is a rigorous and methodical conduct without concessions, which becomes evident in the meetings and conversations maintained with the composer.
