Summary

The installation of the liberal political regime, (1833-1844) started a new era of revision of the laws. The forestry policy of the traditional regime of the region also found itself involved in a process of rearangement. This was to a great degree brought about by the incapability to stop the deforesting process. It was also cause, however, by the introduction of the dasonomist science and forest exploitation techniques
