Summary

Jon Bilbao presents the fundamental lines of the project for a Summer University in Biarritz, that would be organised in two large departments: one for the intensive teaching of the French, English and Spanish languages, and the other concerning studies on the Basque people from all angles. Regrettably this project did not crystallise, even though, as from 1951, an International Summer University was indeed set up in Ustaritz.
