Summary

The ordinances transcribed hereunder take us back to the social and economic reality of 16th century Gipuzkoa and allows us to analyse how the inhabitants of Zumarraga attempted to manage el use, administration and exploitation of forests in a sustainable manner, trying to look for a balance between the various activities interested in forestry exploitation.
