Canonical and non-canonical narrative in the basque context

The present article is a reflection on the current situation of Basque literature. Narrative is a genre that it has consolidated itself throughout the 20th century. Today it is the absolute first in the production of Basque language literature. This is covered in this article, together with the evolution of narrative and its current situation. To complete the work, the author studies the scarce projection that the Basque literature system has in Spain and abroad, and the main trends of novels over the last few years.
