In this article the author examines the importance of scientific publication in Basque culture. The hypothesis followed is that of a real existence of a Basque dissemination culture that is part of our own apparel, which somehow has a distinctive peculiar feature. The article also contains a short history of how that culture of dissemination begins in the 18th century, together with a series of proposals for the immediate future.
