This article presents the intellectual, academic and scientific portrait of Dr. Freijo Balsebre. It analyses his essential contribution to the study of Psychology in the Basque Country and in Spain, his teaching activities in various universities, his educational and political activity, his research contribution to Medicine, Psychology and Anthropology and his critical reflection on the contemporary world.
