Indígenas y romanos en Aquitania a través de la epigrafía

The author tries to show the historical and linguistic data that there is on ancient Aquitania by recurring to inscriptions and onomastics. Through such inscriptions it is possible to determine that the zone that was Aquitania was split into two zones: an oriental zone that suffered the loss of the Basque language which was substituted by Latin, and the western part that has maintained the original Basque language
