In 1675, Bidégaray requested help to publish a Basque-Latin-French Dictionary in which he had worked for 20 years. When his request was rejected, he included Spanish. In response to this new work, the State names a commission to study the dictionary and decides to grant him the support he requested. However, this Dictionary was never published
