The article theorizes on a very simple primitive Basque conjugation that incorporated the pronouns of first and second persons as prefixes and that attributed to the pronouns a double value as subjects of the verb and as agents in the passive. This conjugation did not cause any misunderstandings as long as the subject and the agent were mentioned
