ABSTRACT

The journal starts by examining the professional and academic career of Joxerramon Bengoetxea from a historical and autobiographical perspective. In contrast to this, Teresa Catalan looks at the professional development that has taken place in the creation, teaching and spreading of contemporary music. In the sphere of history, Juan Carlos Jiménez de Aberasturi deals with "Comète", the most efficient clandestine network which was located in the Basque Country during the 2nd World War. In the article in French, Thomas Pierre offers an interpretation of the myth that Basque is special in the Northern (French-administered) Basque Country. That is followed by Alvaro Rabelli?s reflection on postmodern Basque storytelling.
