On the basis of a biography that explains the reasons why Teresa Catalán had been keen to devote herself to music since her childhood, the author explains the professional development that she has maintained in the course of 30 years while working on composing, teaching and the spreading of contemporary music. P. Larrañaga adds an analysis of the music by this composer.
