ABSTRACT
What will the reader find in this monograph? The aim has been to analyse, from an academic perspective, the decision-making processes underway in Europe. The reader will find a comparison the processes in favour of the right of Quebec, Scotland, Catalonia and the Basque Country to decide. The possible routes have been analysed; the international, European and Spanish national regulatory frameworks have been studied and those offering possible solutions have been identified. To this end, an analysis of the discussions, that have begun to emerge and be voiced in current political analysis, has been applauded.
