This proposal for creative reflection was presented at the 19th Eusko Ikaskuntza Congress and will be presented between October and December in the Basque capitals.
After the summer, EzBerdin Berdinak will premiere, a theatrical experience centered around contemporary Basque identity. Combining contemporary dance, live music, theater, and new languages, it uses movement as a metaphor for history, diversity, and the transmission of Basque culture. It is an artistic and participatory experience that promotes critical thinking about contemporary Basque identity, the role of the Basque language, and culture in a plural society. The body becomes the language of culture and reflection, transforming emotion, thought, and dialogue into a collective experience.
Those attending not only observe, but also interact, express, question, and contribute to community building and dialogue between generations and territories. An aesthetic experience, therefore, that will challenge those who participate emotionally and intellectually.
The project will be officially launched after the summer and will reach all the capitals of the Basque Country by the end of the year. Tickets will then be available for purchase. Eusko Ikaskuntza members will enjoy preferential access and special booking conditions.
The dates and other details will be announced in September.
