Summary

This paper examines entrepreneurship in rural and urban environments and the factors that determine this process in Navarre. Our analysis reveals a lower rate of emerging entrepreneurship in the rural environment. These differences are linked to factors related to demand and the large concentration of people, rather than to socio-cultural factors that either favour or hinder rural entrepreneurship.
