Summary

This text is an introduction on the informal sociability of immigrant children in the region of Murcia, in the form mainly of ethnic gangs, and analyses their conformation and their incidence in insertion trajectories. These results are compared with those from other studies in big Spanish cities. A greater segmentation is observed in the case of Murcia and various hypotheses are proposed to explain such differences.
