Summary

In this work the author develops a series of theoretical concepts for an analysis in terms of social and cultural anthropology of the Gernika "Marijeses", in Bizkaia, as a "ritual action". This type of practices, in the present day have a strong socio-identitary dimension and appear connected to aspects such as the local identitary (re)construction.
