Summary

The Basque Country and America offer some intensive sociological as well as cultural relationships. In terms of the cultural influences of the Basque Country on America, it is possible to verify four moments of interrelationship in the middle of long periods of silence or cultural absence. These stages are fultilled over the following historical and cultural periods: the Renaissance ; Barroque ; Romanticism ; the crisis of the end of the century
